About the Owner
My Background:
Hi, I’m Mary Beth! I’m the owner and piano technician behind Bluegrass Piano Care. As a lifelong musician, I’ve always had a love for music and the instruments that make it possible. I’m grateful to now turn that love into a career caring for pianos throughout the Bluegrass community. My love for music has been a part of my life for years, both as a pianist and through playing music for churches and local communities, as well as being a Catholic music artist. That love eventually grew into an interest in the instruments themselves and a desire to help others care for the pianos that bring music into their homes, churches, schools, and gathering spaces. Before beginning my career as a piano technician, I spent a year serving as a missionary with Regnum Christi Mission Corps. That experience taught me the value of service, attention to others, and doing even the small things with care. Those are values I now bring with me into my work with every piano.
My Training:
I received professional training in piano technology from the Piano Technicians Academy and have had the opportunity to train under Tom White of Tom White Piano Tuning, who brings more than 55 years of experience to the craft. Learning alongside someone with decades of knowledge has given me an appreciation for both the technical precision and the patience that quality piano care requires. I’m grateful to be beginning a career in a field I genuinely love and continuing to learn from generations of experience while building something of my own here in Kentucky.
My Goal:
Through Bluegrass Piano Care, my goal is simple: to provide friendly, dependable, and thoughtful service while helping each piano sound and perform its best for years to come
